The Animal Welfare League Qld is currently overrun with dogs (and cats!) so we have decided to launch an appeal to coincide with Mother’s Day where we encourage mums to adopt one of our beautiful souls looking for a home and give themselves the gift of eternal love.
There are currently 100 dogs and 133 cats who are ready to start their new lives (and almost 300 in foster homes) – what better way to celebrate your (or your mum’s) caring, nurturing nature than a trip ton of the AWL’s Rehoming Centres on Sunday, May 9.
Meet all of our lovely guests, see who chooses you to be their new ‘mum’, and enjoy all the love, affection and gratitude your new companion will bring to your life for years to come.
Want to surprise your mum with and bring a new, younger man into her life? Then ask our reception team about adoption vouchers so your mum can come along at her leisure and take all the time she needs to choose her very own ‘Mr Right’.
Or, adopt one of our older female cats, many of whom arrive at the shelter with babies of their own, cute kittens who have now all been adopted while she waits for her forever home.
