  • Beetroot, not leaves
  • Tomato
  • Oranges
  • Grapefruit
  • Bok Choy etc
  • Sweet Potato
  • Grass
  • Snow Peas
  • Guinea Pig Mix-available to cavy all the time

DO NOT FEED GUINEA PIGS:
Some foods to avoid as they are harmful for Guinea Pigs

  • Potato
  • Onion
  • Spring onion
  • Rhubarb
  • Weeds
  • Paw paw- causes scours
  • Any fruit, vegetable or grasses fed in large quantities, can cause scours, which can be lethal

GUINEA PIG BEDDING:

Not only is your Guinea Pig’s food important but also where he rests his head at night or during day naps.

Use untreated pine shavings and a cage off the ground. If using a lawn cage please ensure the cavy has shelter off the ground and out of the weather.
