Wayne Robinson is a keen budgerigar enthusiast. He began breeding
and showing budgerigars when he was young. He became a budgie judge
at the age of 15. This is now his 4th year back showing budgies after
a long break. He has won the most consistant beginner award 3 years
in a row. A big comeback! Wayne has bird lines from interstate breeders
and is consistently now breeding winners.
Wayne recommends that people with an interest in Budgerigars join
a club especially if they are considering "going into budgies".
At a Budgerigar club you can learn a lot and meet others with similar
interests. A good club will provide information on: * Feeding * Husbandry
* Medical problems and treatment * How to prepare birds for shows
* Genetics and breeding
