A Panda will make a great talking point in your coldwater fish tank set up. Panda's are what is known in the aquarium industry as 'Fancy Goldfish'. The Panda is a colour variation in the Oranda Goldfish. The Oranda's scientific name is Carassius auratus. Oranda Goldfish come in black and orange. The Panda Oranda is a mix of either black, orange and white or black and orange or black and white.

Occasionally you will see a rare white Panda Oranda with a black tail, some black on the fin and a splash of black on the body and a pale to bright orange head! What a find! Goldfish eat both dried fish food and live foods.

We recommend no more than 30% of protein in the diet. A good goldfish flake or pellet food will provide this as well as the correct nutrition.
