Healthy mouth healthy body!
Did you know that your pet needs dental care too?
Dental disease is one of the most common health problems amongst dogs and cats with research indicating that up to 80% of dogs and 70% of cats have dental disease by age 2.
Dental disease does not just affect the mouth – in serious cases it can lead to infection and inflammation that can result in damage to other organs such as the heart, liver and kidneys.
The great news is that with regular tooth brushing (There are also foods that can act like a tooth brush) and dental check ups with your veterinarian dental disease is preventable.
