DOG WEIGHT LOSS CLINIC COMPANION ANIMAL SERVICES TRADING HOURS
The weight loss clinic has been designed to assist owners to get their pets to a healthy weight and maintain it.

This service incorporates free consultations with our weight loss coordinator that is organised to fit in with the owners’ schedule.

The first appointment lasts about twenty to thirty minutes as there is usually a bit to discuss and organize. During this first appointment a realistic target weight is set with the flexibility to change this during the program if a healthy weight is achieved.

Subsequent visits are usually every two to three weeks and about five to ten minutes long. These visits consist of weighing and measuring to monitor your pets progress. Depending on results the diet is adjusted accordingly.

Gympie Veterinary Services uses Advance Weight Control, Hills Prescription R/D, W/D or M/D (Cats) or even the animals existing food to formulate a diet to aide in weight loss without pets feeling like they are being starved.

Gympie Veterinary Services is open 5 1/2 days per week and offers an after hours service which is available 365 days per year. Gympie Veterinary Services is one of Queenslands largest mixed animal veterinary practices. There are 13 veterinarians employed at the practice and in excess of 30 staff.

Our veterinarians have wide ranging experiences and backgrounds and they are all constantly attending courses of continuing education which allows us to offer the best services and most up to date information to all of our patients and clients.

Gympie Veterinary Services also has strong relationships with various specialists in all fields of veterinary medicine.
